After a good nights sleep morning was the first cool weather of the year. At 8:30 the journey began.
Hwy 16 to Medina
Many twists and turns later and to Vanderpool.
Went North for a few miles to visit the Lonestar Motorcycle Museum but it was closed.
Next segment was on to Leakey then north to RR 336.
336 runs into 41 and from there its West for a few miles to 335 South.
335 South is one of the more scenic segments of the trip across the Nueces river to the small town of Camp Wood.
In Camp Wood the bike was fueled as well as the rider and the trip resumed on RR 337 headed back to the East.
Nest stop was at the Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop just before returning to Leakey.
Back on the road through the beautiful hill country of Texas.
A few pictures of the Sabinal River leaving Vanderpool.
Then on to Leakey and North on Hwy 16 to the Koyote Ranch.
Some of the photos might be slightly out of order but all are from the Three Twisted Sisters Hill Country Bike Run. An extended version of this trip with some added routes will be coming in early November.
